Rejuvenating Glycolic Acid Peels
Technical information:
GLYTONE Rejuvenating Peel Pads contain imbibed wipes of high concentration free glycolic acid for facial peeling.
Caution:
A slight stinging, tingling sensation or mild erythema may occur and some patients may experience a burning sensation. Continue talking with the patient to assess their level of discomfort and watch continuously for erythema or “frosting”. If the erythema is severe, the patient may experience significant peeling and you may wish to terminate the peel. If erythema is localized, you can terminate the peel in that localized area by “spot neutralizing”. It is important to note any of these occurrences on the patient’s chart. While it is rare, some patients may experience erythema, tightness, minor swelling and peeling of the superficial layer of the skin following the peel.
